of New York. The team plays in the minor league category and plays for the Eastern League. The team is a junior
member of the New York Mets which is a
major league baseball team. The
Binghamton Mets have their home ground in the NYSEG stadium which hosts various sporting events apart from baseball,
but during the baseball season, no other games are held there.
The Binghamton Mets is presently owned by David Maines and the manager of the club is Wally Backman Backman has done
a really good job of managing the Binghamton Mets which is clearly evident given the recent performances by the team
in the recent seasons. The Binghamton Mets the team has the right balance of young and experienced players and hence
the side has become quite a formidable side this season.
