Chris Webber � A Bright Present but a Tainted Past
Chris Webber, more popular as C-Webb is
a former basketball player who played in the NBA for teams like
the Golden State Warriors between 1993 and
1994, Washington Bullets/Wizards between 1994 and
1998, Sacramento Kings between
2005, Philadelphia 76ers between 2005 and
2007, Detroit Pistons in 2007 before going back to the Warriors
for a swansong in 2008.
Webber is one of the most decorated players in the history of the professional game when it comes to individual
awards having earned 5 entries into the All Star team. He was
an All NBA First Teamer, and
became the Rookie of the Year as well as the being the Number One Draft Pick.
Chris Webber was a two time All American Champion but after it was revealed that he was
involved in the Ed Martin scandal, he was stripped of all his titles by the NCAA. Webber has also earned three All NBA Second Teams and one
All NBA Third Team place as well.
He has scored more than 17,000 points in his career, had 8,124 rebounds and 3,526 assists as well. All in all, Chris
Webber was one of the best basketball players of his time but he is also remembered for his scandalous past.
