Roger Clemens ' A Baseball Legend
Roger Clemens is a former baseball player
who played professionally for five teams during his 23 year long stint in
the Major League Baseball and is
one of the greatest players in history to have played the game. Clemens batted and
threw right and was primarily a pitcher.
He played for the Boston Red Sox between
1984 and 1996, the Toronto Blue Jays
during 1997 and 1998, the New York Yankees
between 1999 and 2003, the Houston Astros between 2004 and 2006 and finally retired from the game after
playing another season with the Yankees in 2007.
Roger Clemens has won two World Series titles with the New York Yankees in 1999 and 2000 and has received 11 entries
into the MLB's All Star team. He is a 7 time Cy Young Award winner, which is a record. He has an AL MVP Award and a
MLB All Star MVP Award to his name as well.
Roger Clemens has also won 5 AL TSN Pitcher of the Year Awards and was voted into the MLB's Team of the Century. With
around 4,672 strike outs in his career, Roger Clemens is one of the most successful pitchers of all time and one of
the greats of the game.
