Pittsfield Colonials
Pittsfield Colonials is the name of a team that plays baseball on a professional level in the
Professional Baseball
Association of Canada and America. Pittsfield Colonials is from Pittsfield in Massachusetts. Recently, the team is
called the New Hampshire's American Defender. Before that, they were called the
Pride of Nashua. Jamie Keefe is the
manager of Pittsfield Colonials.
The Colonials as they were previously known played their earlier games in Nashua in New Hampshire when they were
appearing as debutants being a part of
Professional Baseball of
Atlantic League. They played there from 1998 to the
season's end in the year of 2009. Pittsfield Colonials were one of those franchises who are responsible for founding
the League of Atlantic in the year of 1998.
They defeated the Patriots of Somerset in as many as three games and won the series of Championship of Atlantic
League in the season of 2000. However, Pittsfield Colonials lost to the
Patriots of Somerset in the championship
games of 2005 and 2003. The team was moved to Can-Am League in the year of 2006. They were the winners of the
championship league of Can-Am in the year of 2007. Pittsfield Colonials Were sold to the New Hampshire's American
Defenders by John Stabile, the then owner after the season of 2008.
