Chris Riley � An Uncut Diamond of Golf
Chris Riley is a
professional American golfer and
who holds the distinction of becoming the first and only four time
all American in the history of any sport while he was still at
the University of Nevada.
Riley represented the
United States of America in the Walker Cup of 1995.
He turned professional in the summer of 1996 and instead of
joining the PGA Tour at once; he decided to give
the Nationwide Tour a shot. He joined the PGA Tour in 1999 and made
an immediate impact and also made it to the top 30 rich list in 2002 and 2003.
The one and only PGA Tour victory
of Chris Rileys career came in 2002 when he won
the Reno-Tahoe Open. He was also a part of
the Ryder Cup team of the
United States of America in 2004 in which they lost very poorly to their European opponents.
His highest ranking
in the Golf List has been in 2007 when he broke into the Top 50 and that is where he has spent most of his career
since then. Chris Riley is a golfer of immense potential but he has yet to live up to his potential by winning
