Chris DiMarco Unfulfilled Talent?

Chris DiMarco is another American representative in the PGA Tour circuit. He is the winner of seven professional championships and it includes three PGA Tour titles as well.

Born in 1968 in New York, DiMarco played golf during his high school days in Florida. He attended the University of Florida on an Athletic Scholarship and it was here that he honed his skills as a golfer. His coach at that time was Buddy Alexander and he played for the Florida Gators Mens Golf at the NCAA championships between 1987 and 1990.

Having turned a professional in 1990, Chris DiMarco set his sights on the PGA Tour championships, wanting to fulfill his dream as a child of winning all the Majors. But that dream has remained a dream as he has yet to win a Major competition. DiMarco gained some success between 2002 and 2006 during which time he won most of his titles and remained in the Top Ten list of Golfers for 61 straight weeks.

He was also included in the Presidents Cup team as well as the Ryder Cup team during this time and he sank a putter of 15 foot to clinch the title from Stuart Applebys grasp. Since then he has enjoyed moderate success but that is not satisfying enough for a golfer of his caliber.
